COVID-19 Related Questions
Updated Sunday, March 15th 8:00 am

Q:  Will the spring season start as originally scheduled on March 23rd?
A:  No. We delayed the start of the season two-weeks. April 6th is the new start date. Schedule will be released on or before March 30th.

Q:  Can we practice during the two week season delay?
A:  At this time we are leaving that decision up to our teams. We ask that you follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC. Coaches and parents should work together to decide what is best for their teams. Direction from larger city, state or federal governing bodies will supersede Ball Clubs of Norman guidelines.

Q:  Will the post season tournament be moved back as well?
A:  No. The post season tournament will still take place June 22nd - 28th.

Q:  How are our Spring tournaments impacted?
A:  No tournaments are impacted at this time. Our first tournament on April 4/5 is still on as scheduled.

Q:  Will we still get 12 games in the regular season schedule?
A:  Yes. We are adjusting the schedule and we have every intention of all teams playing a 12 game regular season. Exception is 4U Co-ED Tball, they play a 10 game schedule.

Q:  How will the delayed start impact my team's schedule?
A:  You should expect a couple weeks during the season where you have two games a week. Double headers can be requested by emailing info@ballclubs.org.

Q:  What about severe weather and rain outs?
A:  Weather will impact our schedule. Expect to utilize Wednesdays of the following week for your weather rescheduled games. Fridays will also be a possibility in extreme cases. If mother nature is especially hard on us this Spring, it is possible we will be forced into a shortened schedule.
